"The Blues"
Roselea Soccer Club was established in 1967 and in 2005 became Roselea Football Club.
In 2012 Roselea Football Club fields 55 teams consisting of approx. 689 players. Roselea plays in the Gladesville Hornsby Football Association (GHFA) and the North West Sydney Women’s Soccer Association (NWSWS) and has teams for all ages and levels of ability, for both boys and girls, from Under 6 to Super League (all age).
The format for players is:
The Mini teams, which involves small sided games in a non-competitive structure. All "minis" are placed in teams with their friends; generally according to the school they attend. They are encouraged to have fun in a non-competitive environment. This is encouraged through parents, coaches and managers.
The Junior Competitive teams. (Ages 9-16). Under 9s and 10's play in teams of 9 a side with a maximum of 3 reserves on a ¾ size field with a goalkeeper. Under 11's to Under 16's play in teams of 11 players on a full sized field. Players in the junior competitive age groups are individually graded (by the Club’s grading committee) so they are, where possible, playing with and against players of similar ability.
The Senior or All Age Division (Ages 17-Super League). This competition is played under normal FIFA rules. This division provides the opportunity for all "senior" players to play at different levels of ability as they grow with Roselea. It includes the over 35's competition.
The Women’s League. This competition is played with all the rules of the North West Sydney Women’s Soccer. Games are played on Sundays. The U9’s and U10’s play their games on a ¾ size oval.

The Goalkeeper training nights are for Goalkeepers only. We have 2 experienced Goalkeeper coaches that will run the drills on the night.
Training will be held at Harold West on Mondays 6.30pm - 8.00pm on the following days:-

Coaches Meetings
This meeting is only once a month and is considered compulsory. If for some reason you cannot attend, please send someone as a replacement to attend for you with any questions that you would like answered. This meeting is being held to help improve our overall coaching level at the Club, it will only benefit the children that we are responsible for. If you have any issues regarding coaching, this is the arena to bring it up in. This is a support source/think tank for all Coaches within the Club
The Meetings will be held on Mondays at Harold West from 7.00pm on the following days:-

SUNDAY WOMEN’S COMPETITION

Rihanna recently agreed to be the patron of the Rihanna’s Rockers Roselea U20 girls team for 2011 while touring NSW a few weeks ago.
Rihanna was presented with photographs of her team, a signed jersey by all the girls & was made an honorary member of the team with the No1 jersey.
She was delighted, honoured & excited to now have her own Australian Soccer team.
The girls play in the North West Sydney Women’s Football association in the AA4 division.
